HOW CAN I PREVENT CAVITIES?

You can prevent cavities by bushing after every meal for two minutes. Be sure to gently brush the gums as well to prevent gingivitis! If you don't have access to a tooth brush, you can always rinse out your mouth with an alcohol free mouth wash.

It's also important to floss at least once a day and get deep in between teeth where a tooth brush isn't able to reach. Dental flossing removes plaque, if you do not floss regularly plaque will build up and can cause cavities.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I'M GETTING A CAVITY?

The most apparent sign of a cavity is general tooth sensitivity when eating or drinking hot and cold foods. Another sign is a visible brown, black, or dark discoloration on the tooth in a pin pointed area.
